Q: Who is eligible for Tuition Flex?

 

To use Tuition Flex, you’ll need to meet a few simple requirements:

  1. Be enrolled in a daycare or school partnered with Kina.
  2. Have no outstanding balance due with your school.
  3. Be paying your invoice in full (no partial payments).

Each member can have only one active Tuition Flex plan at a time.

 

Q: Does Tuition Flex have a cost?

 

Tuition Flex is included as part of Kina’s premium membership ($9.99 per month). If your school is an official Kina partner, this membership fee is waived.

A standard 1% processing fee applies to all payments. Depending on your bank, your payments to Kina may be processed via ACH or debit card.

 

Q: How do I get started with Tuition Flex?

 

It only takes a few minutes to set up your Tuition Flex plan:

  1. Visit the Kina login link provided to you by your school.
  2. Create and set up your Kina account.
  3. Set up your Tuition Flex plan by choosing how you’d like to split your tuition.

Once you complete your Tuition Flex setup and make your first payment, your school will be paid in full within 3 business days. Your second payment will then be automatically debited from your linked bank account or debit card on the date you selected during setup.

 

Q: Do I need to use Tuition Flex every month?

 

No. Tuition Flex is completely optional. You can choose to use it in any month where you’d like extra flexibility, or simply pay your tuition in full with your school as usual.

There’s no requirement to use Tuition Flex — you stay in control of how you pay.

 

Q: When is Tuition Flex available at my school?

 

Currently, the Kina program is only offered through an exclusive list of partner schools and daycares. Each school has its own timeline for rolling out the program, so availability may vary.
